The 13th National Cuboree

The 13th National Cuboree was held at district level at Henerathgoda Keppetipola Maha Vidyalaya with the participation of close to 420 Cub Scouts from the 16th to the 18th of September, 2022. Sixteen Cub Scouts from Lyceum International School, Gampaha participated in the above event having their first residential camping experience which was also of a National Level. Following Cub Scouts were able to successfully complete the event. Western Province Athletics Championships 2022

We congratulate Dananjana Ranasgalla who became the 1st in Under 18 Triple Jump and Thimath Perera who became the 1st in Under 12 Long Jump events at the Western Province Athletics Championship 2022, held at the Sugathadasa Stadium from 2nd to 5th October.
Next Level 2 Debating Competition

Lyceum Gampaha debating teams won the Winner's Shield at the Next Level 2 debating tournament which also was the first ever British Parliamentary Style Debating tournament faced by the Lyceum debaters. Next Level 2, held from 30th September to 2nd October, was organized by St.Peters college. The tournament was attended by two teams of Lyceum Gampaha. Team A managed to won over 2 teams of Asian International school, Loyola college, Highlands college, Ananda college, St. Joseph's college, Muslim Ladies college, Gateway college Rajagiriya, Wesley collage while Team B won over Loyola college, Wesley college, St Jsephs college, Ananda college, Richmond college, Highlands college, Illma college, Devi Balika and Gateway college Rajagiriya. Team A won first place while Team B secured 2nd place. We congratulate the debating teams for bringing glory to Lyceum Gampaha. The Inter International Schools (TISSL) Table Tennis Tournament

The Under 14 Boys’ Table Tennis team of Lyceum Gampaha emerged Runners Up at the Inter International Schools (TISSL) Table Tennis Tournament which was held on 30th September at Gateway School Colombo. The Under 12 Boys’ team also managed to secure 3rd place at the same tournament. Congratulations dear students! Nationals & Junior National Swimming Championship 2022

Lyceum Gampaha Swimmers excelled at the National & Junior National Swimming Championship 2022 held from 4th to 7th October at the Sugathadasa Swimming Complex becoming the 1st Runners Up in the Junior National Girls' Category with 91.5 points. Our victory was the result of hard work and dedication of our swimmers Onithi Onanga, Shenushi Vihanga, Kithumi Nandasoma and Lasanya Madurapperuma along with the Swimming Coaches of the school. Congratulations to you all! Inter International Schools (TIISSL) Under 14 Badminton Championship

Lyceum Gampaha Boys’ and Girls’ Badminton Teams became the 2nd Runners Up at the TISSL Under 14 Badminton Championship 2022 held on 8th and 9th October at St. Thomas collage Mt. Lavinia in their respective categories. Boys’ team achieved their victory defeating OKI International School and the British School in Colombo while the Girls‘ team secured the 3rd place defeating Gateway College and the British School in Colombo. Excellence at the Junior National Swimming Championship 2022

Lyceum International School Gamapha Girls’ Swimming Team made history when they elevated their school to the top of the Island at the end of the 1st day of Junior National Swimming Championship held at Sugathadasa Swimming Complex with 37points. Shenushi Vihanga won a Silver medal and a Bronze medal while Onithi Onanga won 2 Silver medals at the competition contributing to the school’s overall medal count. Kithumi Nandasoma who was also representing the school at the swimming championship won the 4th place in 100m Butterfly in the Junior Category contributing 6 points to the overall victory of the school.
Sri Lanka Schools Novices Swimming Championship

Lyceum Gampaha swimmers had an impressive performance at Sri Lanka Schools Novices championship held today, 19th August 2022 at Sugathadasa Swimming Complex. Siluni Nandasoma achieved the all Island 2nd place in 50 breaststroke while Desandu Akjaya achieved the all island 5th place in 50m Breaststroke event. Nehgi Guruge also secured the 4th and 5th places in 50m Backstroke and 50m Butterfly Stroke respectively.
