Children’s Day was filled with excitement as the students of Lyceum Gampaha celebrated it on the 30th September and 3rd October. On the day of the celebrations, students attended the school in coloured attire, a once in a year opportunity provided to them while they enjoyed extended intervals with mobile ice cream stalls in the school premises. The Primary and and Pre Primary Sections had additional activities planned for the students to keep them entertained throughout the day.
The Inter House Swimming Meet 2022/23 of Lyceum Gampaha was held on Sunday,11th September in the Swimming Pool premises. Mr.Shehaan P.V.Dias, the National Coach for Commonwealth Games and South Asian Games graced the vibrant event as the Chief Guest. Based on the overall performance the houses performed as follows; 1st Place - Cygnus 2nd Place - Ursa 3rd Place - Aquila
Gampaha Lyceumers celebrated the 16th anniversary of their Alma Mater on Monday 5th September. An array of activities, including a pirith chanting programme and a stationary donation programme for a children's home were among the activities engaged by the students of Gampaha in commemorating the founding day of their alma mater.

And our young Lyceumers depicted the universal human struggles integrated in Shakespearean dramas Hamlet, Macbeth, Midsummer Night’s Dream and King Lear at the Inter House Drama Competition on stage on Friday,19th August at Zeus Hall to a grand audience. Youngsters of Grade 1 of Lyceum International School, Gampaha celebrated their creative personas in performing arts after a relentless pursuit of perfection at their annual concert under the theme “Majstro”, on Monday, 15th August, 2022 at Zeus Hall. A job well done dear students and teachers!
The Religious Day Programme for the students of the Upper School was conducted on the Vap Full Moon Poya Day on the 9th October at the Zeus Hall.
Lyceum Gampaha debating teams won the Winner's Shield at the Next Level 2 debating tournament which also was the first ever British Parliamentary Style Debating tournament faced by the Lyceum debaters. Next Level 2, held from 30th September to 2nd October, was organised by St.Peters college. The tournament was attended by two teams of Lyceum Gampaha.Team A won first place while Team B secured 2nd place. We congratulate the debating teams for bringing glory to Lyceum Gampaha. Deepavali is a festival of light, symbolising spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. One of the most popular festivals of Hindus, Deepavali was celebrated by the students of the Pre Primary and Primary sections of Lyceum Gampaha on Friday the 21st of October, embracing the cultural diversity of our students.
Leaders are made; they are made through the skills they acquire and the decisions they make. Their path is guided by their vision to serve many beyond self. Being a School Prefect paves the way for a student to learn this worthy cause of a leader.
