22nd anniversary celebrations of lyceum - panadura

The 3rd of May, in the year 2000, is a memorable day in the history of our school as Lyceum spread out its very first branch school at Panadura. Originally, it took root at an ancestral home along Jayatilaka Mawatha at Panadura, with just 23 students and 3 teachers, guided by the headmistress and a secretary. Also not forgetting the security officer and the support staff, who were a part of the team since its inception. The vision of Lyceum is to, "Produce global citizens who will reshape the future of our motherland." This became a popular choice among many, who wanted their children to be empowered with nothing but the best. The school started to expand rapidly, taking flight to its very own premises at Walana. And ever since, "Lyceum Panadura" from all aspects, has enhanced the potentials of our young souls to make a difference for a better tomorrow. Our primary students at the Bekkegama premises, celebrated the 22nd Anniversary of Lyceum Panadura, with heartfelt gratitude towards the school. Their happy little faces were lit up with pride and honour for the school as they waved the school flag. The school assembly came alive with the speeches of our dear principal, headmistress and one of our pioneer teachers. The school song on this occasion was sung with more valour than the usual times as they were rejoicing over the excellence of an untiring 22 years. The rest of the songs illuminated the occasion. We look forward for a better tomorrow as we mature with experience and excellence.
